Former ‘The Real’ Co-Hosts Tamera Mowry-Housley & Tamar Braxton Share Affectionate Moment
Former ‘The Real’ co-host Tamera Mowry-Housley and Tamar Braxton recently shared a sentimental moment on Instagram and seem to be in a much better place. Wednesday, May 12, Adrienne Bailon, who has been a co-host of ‘The Real’ since 2013, uploaded a video to her Instagram account that showed her reuniting with Tamera Mowry-Housley for the first time in a year. Tamera Mowry-Housley stepped away from ‘The Real’ in July of 2020. In addition to that, the coronavirus pandemic has also seemingly had a hand in keeping the two besties apart. Adrienne Bailon captioned the heartfelt video,
“you’ve got a friend… forever. my #wcw [Tamera Mowry-Housley] [white heart emoji]
going from seeing you everyday to not seeing you for a whole year. wow… i missed your face! love you amiga.”

Tamar Braxton, who was fired from ‘The Real’ in 2016, left comments on the post and shared that she’s also missing her former work buddies. The Grammy-nominated artist posted a broken heart emoji, along with a sad face and red heart. Tamera responded to her comment and shared that she misses Tamar too.
Tamar then left another comment and said,
“[Tamera Mowry-Housley] i miss you too…& so much [tear face emoji] [red heart emoji] [double red exclamation point emoji]”
As previously reported, things between the 3 ladies, who are all part of the original cast of ‘The Real Talk Show’, have been a little rocky since Tamar was removed from the show. Initially, Tamar blamed her former co-host for being fired. In 2019 during an interview with Wendy Williams, Tamar alluded that they were being catty behind her back.
The ladies of ‘The Real’ wasted no time in responding to Tamar’s accusations.
Many people have also accused other ‘The Real’ OG co-host Loni Love of being responsible for Tamar getting fired.
For a while it seemed like things between the original ladies of ‘The Real’ would never be repaired. However, at the start of this year, Tamar alleged on an episode of her podcast, Tamar Under Construction, that she learned WeTV was responsible for getting her fired. She said,
“I heard a rumor… allegedly… I didn’t have any answers, nobody had any answers as to what happened, the girls were getting blamed, it was ‘Tamar’s got an attitude problem’, of course all the reality TV storylines were the surface of everything. Do you know that years later, what I had heard through the grapevine what really happened. I heard that that network that I was working with at the time would not sign off, and allowed me and them girls to fall out in public, almost ruined my whole career, my livelihood, everything that I’ve worked for, and never said one time, didn’t say ‘Okay you’re the star of the network, we’re gonna have a meeting with you, we don’t want you to do the show no more.’”
She added,
“At least give me a heads up but no…pulled the plug and ain’t say nothing and allowed Loni to take the fall, Adrienne, Jeannie, Tamera, and myself. We up here battling and fighting as Black girls and they don’t care. Scratching and battling and pointing fingers. We’re not on a reality show, this is real life. When does reality TV stop being reality TV?”
