Pooh Shiesty’s Bail Revoked, Will Stay In Jail Until Trial

Update #3 (June 10th): Pooh Shiesty’s bond has been revoked.

The rapper, who was granted $10,000 bond earlier this week, will now have to stay behind bars until his trial begins.

Miami Herald reporter David Ovalle announced the news on Twitter and said the judge declared,

“There is not a chance I am giving this kid a bond right now.”

Update #2 (June 9th): Pooh Shiesty has been granted $10,000 bond after being arrested in connection with a shooting in Miami-Dade.

He is accused of shooting a security guard in the leg at King of Diamonds strip club.

The rapper (born Lontrell Williams) surrendered to police yesterday (June 8th) amid an aggravated battery charge, according to NBC Miami. He appeared in court today (June 9th) and was granted bond.

His lawyer Bradford Cohen said during the hearing that the incident,

“looks to me like an accidental discharge.”

But Miami-Dade prosecutor Ruben Scolavino alleged Pooh Shiesty was

“angry because the victim was a security guard who told him to put away his gun.”

A warrant alleges he performed at King of Diamonds before a security guard walked with him through the crowd around 4 a.m. when “an unknown person knocked money” out of his back pocket. Patrons then allegedly tried to get the money, causing the rapper to get upset. He got back on stage to “see who was grabbing his money,” according to the warrant. That’s when the security guard saw a gun in his waistband and “told the defendant to hide the firearm and tried to put his hand on [Williams’] hand to prevent him from taking the firearm out from his waistband.”

As the security guard escorted him out of the club again, Pooh Shiesty allegedly pulled out his gun and fired a shot, which hit the security guard’s ankle. The guard also told police that when he saw Pooh Shiesty take out his gun, he jumped out of the way, which “saved him from being shot in the torso.”

Despite being granted bond, he will have to stay in court until tomorrow (June 10th), when he sees a judge for a previous case.

Original Story (May 31st): Pooh Shiesty is facing more allegations of gun violence.

The rapper, most known for “Back In Blood,” performed at King of Diamonds (KOD) in Miami this past Saturday (May 29th). While there, clubgoers alleged that an unknown individual pick-pocketed Pooh Shiesty, stealing $40,000. In response, the rapper allegedly fired off a gunshot within the venue.

These allegations primarily stem from videos shot by clubgoers. Just after the alleged incident, one person present captured Pooh Shiesty–in his signature ski mask–leaving the event with his crew, seemingly putting a handgun into his pocket. The video is captioned:

“Pooh Shiesty cocked it back. He was ready. Someone stole 40K from his pocket. Last night KOD Miami.”

Additionally, another clubgoer took video of the aftermath, captioning the clip:

“Pooh Shiesty let off a shot. Injuring security last night. @KOD.Miami.305”

However, despite the videos and claims, Pooh Shiesty has denied the allegations on Instagram. The rapper first posted a video of him wearing a ski mask and eating a Rice Krispies Treat–seemingly unbothered. He then directly denied the allegations, writing:

“False allegations nothing never been took from me”

This alleged incident is not the first time the rapper has found himself at the center of gun violence controversy. In October, Pooh Shiesty was arrested for his supposed connection to a shootout that occurred in Bay Harbor Islands, Florida–just northeast of Miami. He was charged with armed robbery, aggravated assault and battery, and criminal theft. However, he was released from custody the very next day.
