Young M.A Seemingly Denies Reports Of Being In Rehab Despite Her Earlier Social Media Posts Suggesting Otherwise: I’m At My Video Shoot, How Am I In Rehab?
Some Young M.A fans may now be speculating whether or not the rapper recently checked into rehab. As previously reported, rapper Young M.A (real name Katorah Marrero) revealed she was checking herself into rehab late last month. In a now-deleted Instagram post, the “BIG” rapper wrote:
“Bouta lose this addiction…omw to rehab.”
A cryptic tweet accompanied this post, seemingly looking to God for strength in beating her speculated addiction. For the record, it is unknown whether or not Young M.A suffers from addiction–and, if she does, the exact substance is also unknown. About two weeks ago (Tuesday, June 22nd), Young M.A tweeted:
“Loving God, I pray that you will comfort me in my suffering, lend skill to the hands of my healers, and bless the means used for my cure. Give me such confidence in the power of your grave, that even when I am afraid, I may put my whole trust in you.”

However, the rapper recently revealed she was actually not in rehab. On Instagram Live, Young M.A stated:
“[A commenter] said ‘Which rehab you at?’ Um, at my video shoot. I’m at my video shoot. Isn’t that crazy… How am I [in rehab]? How, how? I’m here, right here.”
Additionally, an unknown man corroborated her claims, saying
“It’s not your motherf***ers job to just create some bulls**t… I been with [Young M.A] all day every day.”

It’s also worth noting that the rapper also denied allegations of drug use back in a 2019 Instagram Live. Young M.A said:
“That coke s**t? I don’t do that. I don’t pop no pills, I don’t sniff no coke, nothing, bro. The most I do–I drink and smoke some weed. Y’all n***as wildin’ with that sh*t. That sh*t ain’t even cute. For real.”
She continued:
“I need my supporters to understand that, bro. I don’t rock with that. That poppin’ perc, poppin’ mollies, poppin’ xans and s**t like that? That s**t ain’t cute, bro. I don’t do that!”
