‘RHONY’ Star Ramona Singer Reportedly Fears Eboni K. Williams Will Make Her Appear Racist At Reunion, Allegedly Asked Producers To Avoid Race Topics
Race-based conversations have been prominently featured on The Real Housewives of New York this season, but Ramona Singer allegedly tried to prevent the topic from coming up during the reunion!
Ramona Singer approached RHONY producers with concerns about the season 13 reunion, according to TMZ. Specifically, she allegedly told producers she was worried Eboni K. Williams, who’s the first Black cast member on the series, would make her look like a racist due to potential conversations about race.

Resultingly, she reportedly asked if the subject of race could be avoided altogether. However, production allegedly declined Ramona Singer‘s request.
Ramona Singer‘s concerns come amid a season full of conversations on race and white privilege. In an EXCLUSIVE interview with theJasmineBRAND, Eboni K. Williams told us that discussing race and advocating for the Black community is her “life’s work,” and she hasn’t shied away from conversations on the subject this season. Resultingly, many of her RHONY co-stars have had to reckon with their views and actions on race-based subjects.
It appears to have begun when Ramona referred to a worker as “the help,” which Eboni K. Williams promptly corrected. Later, after Ramona claimed Eboni was loud during an argument with Luann de Lesseps, she commented on Ramona‘s “white fragility.” Additionally, Ramona and Eboni got into it again over politics, as Ramona refused to discuss the topic with her.
It also appears as though Eboni threw some shade at her castmates on Instagram recently. This past Thursday (July 15th), she uploaded a photo along with Crystal Minkoff–the first Asian-American housewife on RHOBH. In part, her caption read:
“These deranged bigots are just mad AF THAT THEIR DAYS OF DOMINANCE ARE COMING TO AN END…”
She also included #TimesUpOnWhiteSupremacy.
