Diddy Announces New Album ‘OFF THE GRID’, Will Drop In Late September: Welcome To The LOVE ERA!
Diddy fans can expect some new work by him in just a couple of months!
Yesterday (Wednesday, July 21st), Sean “Diddy” Combs–who also refers to himself as “Love” now–announced he is releasing an album this September. He shared the news on Instagram, writing:
“OFF THE GRID. The Album[.] September 24, 2021. Welcome to the LOVE ERA.”

While Diddy only recently made the announcement, theJasmineBRAND broke the story all the way back in January! In an EXCLUSIVE article, we reported that Diddy was preparing a surprise project. Producer London On Da Track and singer Eric Bellinger are also allegedly assisting with the musical pursuit.

Additionally, it is also rumored that Diddy‘s upcoming project will feature a song dedicated to Kim Porter, who passed away in 2018. The pair had an on-and-off relationship from 1994-2007 and share three children together. Diddy is also a father figure to Kim Porter‘s son from a previous relationship.

This new album will be Diddy‘s first musical project since his 2015 mixtape, MMM (Money Making Mitch). However–when it comes to solo albums–Diddy hasn’t released one since 2006’s Press Play, which spawned the hit song “Last Night.”
It should also be noted that the upcoming album is officially titled OFF THE GRID VOL. 1. Resultingly, it’s implied that Diddy may have a follow-up in mind for the future.
