Yung Miami Is An Actress, Booked Her First Role In A Movie!

Yung Miami is another rapper to join the acting scene. This week (11/10) Yung Miami, whose real name is Caresha Romeka Brownlee, took to Twitter to share with fans that she has finished working on her first movie.

On Twitter, the rapper said,
“Just finished my first movie. Yung Miami the actress.”
She continued,
“I’m finna cry all MF night. I’m so blessed. Goodnight [heart emoji].
In addition to her tweets, Yung Miami, who is also one-half of the rap duo City Girls, reposted photos on her IG story with co-stars Lala Anthony and Jonah Hill.

Yung Miami joins the untitled Netflix comedy, directed by Kenya Barris and starring Eddie Murphy. As previously reported, details of the comedy are still under wraps but the script was reportedly co-written by Kenya Barris and Jonah Hill.

The production will follow modern love and families while examining the clash of cultures and generational differences, to which co-star, Murphy, and Hill will be on opposing sides. Both Jonah’s and Kenya’s production companies will produce the comedy and will serve as Kenya Barris’ directorial debut.
