‘The Real’ Officially Canceled After 8 Seasons

‘The Real’ Has Been Canceled After 8 Seasons
After eight years in syndication, ‘The Real‘ is coming to an end!
According to reports, the daytime talk show has officially been canceled. The program’s current eighth season will be its final one after the show’s core station group, the Fox Stations, opted not to renew it for next season. A final air date has yet to be determined.
theJasmineBRAND exclusively broke the story last month when the show’s cancellation was revealed from an inside source! While the specific reason for the cancellation hasn’t been confirmed, it’s speculated that ratings played a part in its end.

‘The Real’ is Warners/Telepictures’ third longest-running daytime syndicated panel talk show ever, behind Ellen and Jenny Jones, and one of the longest-running daytime talk shows in the last 10 years. The show, which broke ground as the first daytime syndicated panel talk show whose stars were all women of color, has received three Daytime Emmys and two NAACP Image Awards.
When The Real premiered in 2013, its panel of co-hosts included Tamera Mowry, Jeannie Mai, Tamar Braxton, Adrienne Bailon and Loni Love. Since then, Braxton and Mowry have parted ways with the show, as did one time co-host Amanda Seales. Garcelle Beauvais has been a co-host on the show since 2020.
