Kylie Jenner Felt ‘Pressure’ To Name Her Son ‘Wolf,’ Socialite Shares She Immediately Regretted It: Right After I Signed The Birth Certificate I Was Like, What Did I Just Do?

Kylie Jenner can’t quite figure out what to name her infant son. 

Reality star Kylie Jenner has revealed that she only chose the name ‘Wolf’ for her infant son because she felt pressured to do so at the time of his birth. Kylie Jenner shared those details with her mother Kris Jenner on Thursday’s (Sept. 29) episode of their hit show, The Kardashians.

The makeup mogul is now a mother of two after welcoming her baby boy with longtime boyfriend Travis Scott on February 2, 2022. The pair named their first child Stormi but they reportedly still haven’t finalized a name for their youngest child.

Kylie explained to her mother:

“We thought it was going to come to us when we saw him and it didn’t. Then we had to sign the birth certificate — or else they register him without a name or Social Security number — so I felt the pressure to choose a name.”

Kylie’s sister Khloe Kardashian suggested the name ‘Wolf,’ and Kylie admitted she agreed at first. Mainly because she liked the thought of her son’s initials being ‘WW,’ (Travis Scott’s last name is Webster). However, according to Kylie, she regretted it immediately after signing the birth certificate. 

“I liked the WW. We put Wolf Webster in that moment and right after I signed the birth certificate I was like, ‘What did I just do?” 

Not too long after her son was born Kylie shared she had his name changed. On March 21, she announced on her Instagram,

“FYI our son’s name isn’t Wolf anymore. We just really didn’t feel like it was him. Just wanted to share because I keep seeing Wolf everywhere.”

Then, on September 9, Kylie and Kris Jenner appeared on an episode of The Late Late Show with James Corden where touched on the name debacle some more. She told James Corden,

“We haven’t officially, legally changed the name. His name is still Wolf. His passport’s Wolf, but that isn’t gonna be his name. Travis he likes to, he’ll be like, ‘Ooh, this name is kind of cool,’ and like change it again. So we’re just not officially probably going to change it until, maybe…”

It seems we’ll be waiting a bit longer for ‘Baby Webster’s first name, but the clan never disappoints when it comes to their children’s names.
