Migos — Rap Group Travis Porter Claims Former Quality Control Label Trio Fell Out ‘Over A B*tch’
Atlanta rap group Migos may have disbanded over a woman, at least according to Travis Porter.
During an appearance on the We In Miami podcast, the rap group — which consists of stepbrothers Ali and Quez and their friend Strap — said they heard the former trio fell out over a “bi*ch.” While it’s unclear if the woman in question is Offset’s wife Cardi B, Quez said,
“It’s always over a bi*ch. Ni**a’s get killed about a bi*ch, ni**a’s break up over p*ssy.
In a recent interview on the breakup, Takeoff andQuavo(real name Quavious Keyate Marshall) — who are now performing as the rap duo ‘Unc & Phew’ — said that sometimes things just aren’t meant to be.

Quavo said,
“We just came from a loyal family, supposed to stick together and sometimes when sh*t don’t work out, it ain’t meant to be.
He added,
“We just stand on loyalty. We stand on real deal, real deal loyalty and sometimes that sh*t gets played and this ain’t got nothing to do with no label, no paperwork, no QC, no nothin’. This got something to do with the three brothers and sh*t that is what it is. Right now we gon’ be the duo til’ time tell.”

Offset, Quavo, Takeoff
Takeoff, (real name Kirshnik Khari Ball), added:
“You know we don’t know all answers. God know and we pray a lot. Whatever ain’t right and however you supposed to see it fit and you put it back together or however you do it. We pray so only time will tell. We always family and that ain’t gon change.”
As previously reported, breakup rumors for the trio started to surface around May when Quavo and Takeoff released “Hotel Lobby” from their “Unc & Phew” project, which excluded Offset. Fans also noticed that Offset stopped following Quavo and Takeoff on social media.
Offset (real name Kiari Cephus) has since filed a lawsuit against Quality Control Records for allegedly seeking to control his solo career. The 30-year-old rapper accused QC of breaching a contract they agreed to in January 2021. He reportedly negotiated his solo deal and “paid handsomely” for his artist rights, but according to the lawsuit, QC isn’t upholding the agreement now that he’s dropped a new solo record.
Offset has reportedly called this conduct “aggressive.”
