According to reports, Metro Boomin has tied the theme of his new album, “HEROES & VILLAINS,” to the loss of his mom by inviting dozens of single mothers to a Falcons game with on-field access. As previously reported, Metro Boomin’s mother was murdered by his stepfather who ultimately committed suicide.

On Sunday (Dec. 4) Metro, born Leland Tyler Wayne, organized a heartfelt initiative in Atlanta during the Falcons vs. Steelers game, held at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium. The 29-year-old purchased tickets for 26 mothers from around the country as well as their children. His event gave attendees a mini family parade through the tunnel and onto the main stage before kickoff.
The group also got to stand alongside the Falcons players amid the national anthem. Metro reportedly did not attend the game because he wanted the mothers to have the spotlight. The famed Hip-Hop producer organized the special day to honor his late mother.
