Silk of ‘Diamond & Silk’ Is Threatening To Sue Over Reports Diamond Died From Covid-19

Rochelle “Silk” Richardson from the Diamond and Silk duo is threatening legal action over reports that her sister Lynette “Diamond” Hardaway died from Covid-19.

Silk has recently taken to Twitter to share her disdain over claims that her sister passed away due to Covid.

In a string of posts, she first responds to tv personality Marc Lamont Hill, by shutting down claims that her sister died from Covid. She also issued a warning for him to retract his statements. She wrote,

“I will NOT allow you or any other MOFO the opportunity to disparage, slander & lie on my sister & I. Where’s your proof that my sister was ever hospitalized due to Covid and that we were fired from Fox? Investigate Before You Celebrate! You have until 12 noon today to retract.”

She later responded to a social media user that echoed a similar message in a now deleted tweet. Silk replied,

“Well it looks like we have us another lying MOFO who calls himself a Bishop but acts more like a B!tch A$$. Where’s your proof that my sister died from contracting COVID-19? No Proof plus No Truth equates to a Lawsuit.You have until 12 midnight tonight to retract.”

On Friday (Jan. 13) she responded to Michael J. Stern– opinion columnist for USA Today–and threatened to sue over his claims. She wrote,

“So you think you can use the death of my sister, her face & our brand to promote & advocate for people to get the jab and post that she died from a disease she never had? Who the F%ck gave you authorization to use our brand, her name & likeness? I intend to take Legal Actions.”

Many of these statements were reportedly based on a post from the Blavity publication which stated that Lynette “Diamond”Hardaway died of Covid. The article appears to be unavailable and cannot be validated or confirmed at this time.

As previously reported, Lynette “Diamond” Hardaway, a member of the Diamond and Silk duo who gained national attention for their committed support for former president Donald Trump, died earlier this week at the age of 51.

Without announcing the cause of death, on Monday night (Jan. 9), the Diamond and Silk official Twitter account tweeted about Diamond’s passing. The post also featured a link allowing users to contribute to “preserve Diamond’s legacy.” The tweet read:

“The World just lost a True Angel and Warrior Patriot for Freedom, Love, and Humanity! Please respect the privacy of Diamond’s family! Memorial Ceremony TBA.”

The siblings appeared on Fox News’s streaming service, Fox Nation, but the network terminated their relationship with them in 2020 after they questioned the legitimacy of the official COVID-19 death figures. Trump declared his support for the two in a tweet saying that he loved them as did “millions of people!” In August 2020, Diamond and Silk launched a program on Newsmax called “Diamond and Silk: Crystal Clear.”
