‘RHONY’ Alum Eboni K. Williams Responds To ‘RHOA’ Alum NeNe Leakes’ Claims That She Doesn’t Know Her, Reveals Private Messages They’ve Shared

It looks like Eboni K. Williams isn’t too fond of NeNe Leakes’ recent comments.

During a recent appearance on The Breakfast Club, NeNe Leakes shared her thoughts on The Real Housewives franchise and discussed the difference between being famous vs. being known. In her discussion, NeNe shared her feelings that many of the women involved with the Housewives franchise are not stars.

She explained,

“Like, these girls on these shows, they’re just not stars. If you really look at it, all of the stars that were on any of these franchises, they took them off and everybody that is left is starless.”

When asked about The Real Housewives of New York City, NeNe claimed to not know who was on the show. Leakes was then asked about Eboni K. Williams being on the show, to which she replied,

“I don’t know her either. Is she famous or is she known?”

Now, Eboni K. Williams is guest hosting on The Breakfast Club and recently took the time to respond to NeNe Leakes’ claims. While on the show, Williams showed proof that NeNe in fact does know her. The former Real Housewives of New York City star pulled out her phone and showed direct messages from NeNe Leakes herself. Apparently, NeNe DM’d Eboni asking if she was still on the show. According to Eboni, NeNe later called her and the two had a “lovely” conversation.

Further proving her point, Eboni K. Williams noted that NeNe Leakes named her in her discrimination lawsuit against Bravo.

Williams said,

“I was named in NeNe’s legal complaint. I’m actually a named person as an example of the racial discrimination that she alleged Bravo of participating in. She cites my example, what I went through with Ramona on camera. So the court documents say you do know me NeNe.”

As previously reported, last year, the reality star turned businesswoman sued Bravo and Andy Cohen over claims that she suffered years of racist remarks from her former co-star Kim Zolciak-Biermann, who is white.

According to the lawsuit, NeNe was subjected to consequences from the network and their respective production companies because they,

“foster a corporate and workplace culture in which racially-insensitive and inappropriate behavior is tolerated — if not, encouraged.”

The TV personality also accused Andy of getting her Blacklisted after she called them out for racist behavior.

NeNe Leakes has yet to directly respond to Eboni K. Williams’ remarks. However, she did leave a comment in our IG section today (Feb. 1) telling Williams to give her a call.
