Malaysia Pargo Leaving ‘Basketball Wives’ After 10 Years: I Don’t Care How Much Of A Dollar Amount Is Behind It, You Have To Stand Up For Yourself

Sad news for “Basketball Wives” fans.

In a recent episode of “Basketball Wives,” Malaysia Pargo, 42, revealed unfortunate news to her co-stars Jackie Christie, 53, and DJ Duffey, 34,  that they weren’t expecting. As the trio gathered together for a chat, Jackie Christie asked Malaysia Pargo:

“Are you mad at me? Do you feel that I did something like to make Jennifer [Williams] say the dumb sh*t she said? Let’s just keep it 100.”

Malaysia Pargo answered:

“I’m not mad at you because I know who you are and I know that you do force the issue but I wish you wouldn’t have because I feel like you got to respect people wishes. I am okay with never speaking to her again and she’s okay with it. So we should just let it be. I feel like at the end of the day you were trying to make us be friends.”

Jackie Christie apologized:

“I’m guilty of that and I’m sorry. When I say be friends it ain’t necessarily be buddy ol’ pals but we gotta exist together.”

Malaysia disclaimed:

“No b*llsh*t aside. At this point I won’t be coming around your group of friends anymore, the band that you put it together.”

Seemingly shocked by her statement, Jackie asked:

“You’re not coming around us anymore?”

Jackie Christie

Malaysia clarified:

“Definitely not coming around that group of people. Permanently. I just don’t care to be around people that giving me bad vibes. I guess what I’m trying to say is that my mental health is worth way more.”

The Compton native initially joined the reality show back in 2011, the spin-off to Basketball Wives Miami. In a confessional, Malaysia explained why she’s calling it quits from the reality show:

“I enjoy doing Basketball Wives. It’s been 10 years but at a point you have to realize and say ‘I love a baby that don’t love me back.’ So I have to walk away from this group and this show.”

Malaysia disclaimed to her co-hosts:

“I’m not quitting you. I’m just quitting the situation.

When asked by a producer if her exit is “goodbye forever” she said.

“Who knows what the future holds.”

She added,

“But what I do know is I don’t care how much of a dollar amount is behind it, you have to stand up for yourself.”
