Snoop Dogg Lands Deal To Release New Albums & Distribute Death Row Catalog
Snoop Dogg has landed a new deal with former Apple executive Larry Jackson to release new solo albums and distribute Death Row Records’ iconic catalog.
Larry Jackson, Apple Music’s former Global Creative Director who has worked with Kanye West and Drake, launched a new music company this week called gamma, with which he’s already partnered with a few other A-listers. The company is described by Billboard as
“a one-stop-shop media company that creates, distributes, and markets content, from music to podcasts to films, offering resources and guidance to artists who want to build their brands and expand beyond music.”
According to Billboard, the deal is a long-term partnership between Snoop Dogg and gamma and allows rights to revert back to the 51-year-old rapper after they
“work together to enrich the value of the IP.”

One of gamma’s main goals is to uplift Black culture and structure deals that help artists retain ownership of their work and build generational wealth.
Snoop Dogg isn’t the only artist to join forces with Jackson. Usher and Rick Ross have also struck a deal with gamma.
Snoop Dogg had this to say about the new partnership:
“It made sense for two Black men to come together to change the face of the industry. I didn’t want to partner with a regular company because they respect me and fear me so much, they wouldn’t wanna give me ideas.”
Some could speculate that one of Snoop’s new albums could possibly be Missionary, the joint LP with Dr. Dre that he previously announced last year.
It looks like Snoop Dogg has been busy making money moves.
On Tuesday (Mar. 7) the “Drop IT Like It’s Hot” rapper shared with his Instagram followers that he has officially entered the coffee business. His premium coffee brand, named INDO.xyz, is a joint venture with Indonesian coffee entrepreneur Michael Riady. Snoop Dogg, captioned the first video post announcing the exciting news,
“@indo.xyz my new premium coffee company. Created 4 n inspired by all tha entrepreneurs, dreamers, risk takers & innovators out there. It’s time to change tha game INDO is for owners #FuelTheDream”

The long Beach rapper said in a statement:
“My relationship with coffee goes way back. The many long nights in the studio making hit after hit, coffee provided the fuel which kept us going…Today marks the launch of a new company I created along with my partner Michael, who introduced me to the best-tasting Indonesian coffee. Indo is going to change the industry. I can promise you that.”
