Damson Idris couldn’t stop grinning while speaking about his relationship with Lori Harvey. 

During a recent chat with Complex reporter Speedy Morman, the “Snowfall” star was asked about his decision to go public with model Lori Harvey. According to Damson Idris, his growth and maturity level had a lot to do with his desire to not keep his relationship private. He explained: 

“I guess I’m just growing. I’m just learning. I’m not letting certain things affect me and I’m also understanding that life is life and that social media is just social media.”

The 31-year-old explained:

“Sometimes you may do different things. Sometimes you may act out of touch, sometimes, but you learn. People are able to look at those choices and learn. With my private life today, with my relationship today, it’s great. Life is great and I’m just moving forward.”

When asked if it was “tough” to keep their love life a secret the “Swarm” actor shared: 

“Yeah, it is tough to keep those things a secrect. But our lives are under a magnifying glass.”

He continued:

“People need to understand that people are people. People are in the public eye of people. But, as I said, it’s great and life is great.”

Damson Idris’ comments about his relationship with Lori Harvey follow recent allegations that they’ve broken up. However, it’s now clear they are very much still together and happy. Yesterday (Mar. 27) Lori seemingly took a jab at the breakup rumors as well by sharing a rare image of her special time with Damson. The skincare guru took to her Instagram story to share a photo of her beau in a drop-top seemingly coming to pick her up for a date. She captioned the picture:

“My fine *ss uber driver.”

As previously reported, the pair confirmed their relationship in December of last year after they were spotted on a secret date in Hollywood.
