Wendy Williams Does Not Have A Reality Show In The Works, But Is Filming A New Project: The specifics can’t be disclosed yet.
Fans excited by the idea of Wendy Williams on reality TV will be slightly disappointed.
According to reports, the former daytime talk show host is not filming for a reality show despite widespread speculation.

Reportedly, Wendy William’s rep Shawn Zanotti confirmed as much in a recent statement. They reportedly told Page Six:
“It is definitely not a reality show.”

Adding:
“After taking a long break, Wendy feels some of the best days of her life were in media. She has been in media since her early 20’s and wants to return to what she loves…Yes, Wendy is filming…Yes, she is gearing up for something and the specifics of that can’t be disclosed as of yet.”
Back in February, the 58-year-old reportedly brought a grand production crew of atleast 30 individuals to film into a New York eatery, sparking rumors of a possible reality TV special. One witness who happened to be dining at the restaurant described the scene, stating:
“Basically it was a regular night…and then all of the sudden the Wendy Williams train arrived…She had a huge crew that basically turned Fresco by Scotto into a movie set,”

Fans were excited by the news as many have been awaiting the return of their TV queen. As you may recall, The Wendy Williams Show came to a controversial end following 12 seasons on air after Williams dealt with ongoing health concerns. Sherri Shepherd, who filled in as a guest for several of the show’s episodes, secured the coveted daytime talk show slot with her new series Sherri.

As we reported earlier this month, Williams was also spotted filming in her hometown of Ashbury New Jersey of the project. It seems, however, the content will not come in the form of reality TV as originally speculated. While details of the coming project remain tight lipped, Zanotti did at least confirm that Williams’ highly anticipated podcast The Wendy Experience is still in the works.
