Kenya Moore’s Ex Husband Marc Daly Dropped By Divorce Lawyer Weeks Before Trial
Kenya Moore‘s estranged husband Marc Daly has been dropped by his lawyer just weeks before he is set to head to trial.
According to RadarOnline.com, Marc Daly‘s lawyer, Regina Edwards informed the court last week of her decision to step down from the case.
Edwards said that Marc has 10 days to object to her motion. He will also be responsible for preparing for trial and hiring a new lawyer.
Although the trial is set for May 22, Edwards said,
“however, said proceedings will not be affected by the undersigned’s withdrawal.”

As we previously reported, Kenya Moore officially filed for divorce from Daly back in May of 2021 after four years of marriage. The pair began to struggle after saying “I do” early on, and separated in 2019. After rekindling things early 2020, the two once again called things off a few months later. Moore and Daly share one daughter together named Brooklyn, and have even butted heads over custody agreements.
In the petition, she listed the date of separation as September 19, 2019, and noted they had been living in a
“bonafide state of separation since that date.”
The reality star said the marriage was “irretrievably broken” with no hope for reconciliation.
Marc agreed to the divorce and with Kenya having primary custody. However, he demanded joint legal custody.
Prior to filing for divorce, Kenya filed a custody case against Marc. During the battle, Marc attempted to block their daughter from filming Real Housewives of Atlanta without his approval.

Kenya argued her job required her to share her life which included Brooklyn. The judge ultimately sided with Kenya, claiming there was no evidence that:
“[Brookyln would be in] any environment that might not be in the minor child’s best interest, or may in any way be considered dangerous or inappropriate.”
Additionally, the judge added:
“Evidence has further shown that if [Kenya] is not able to involve the minor child, that it could negatively impact her ability to make money, or even be employed.”
In the divorce, Marc argued that Kenya’s actions dragged out their divorce proceedings. He asked the court to make her responsible for paying off his legal bills.
The case is still ongoing.
