President Joe Biden Officially Announces 2024 Reelection Campaign Despite Critics’ Concerns That He’s Too Old To Remain In Office
Joe Biden has made his 2024 reelection campaign official!

As expected, everyone isn’t excited to see Biden potentially serve a second term in the White House. According to reports, critics have expressed concerns over Biden’s age. If successful in his reelection campaign, the politician would be 82 on Inauguration Day 2025 and 86 by the end of his second term.
A recently released NBC News poll found that 70% of Americans, including 51% of Democrats, believe Biden should not seek a second term. According to the poll, half of voters who don’t want to see Biden in office again claim his age is a “major” factor.
However, during his campaign video, Biden expressed he is running for reelection to “finish the job.” In part, he said:
“Around the country MAGA extremists are lining up to take on those bedrock freedoms. Cutting social security that you paid for your entire life while cutting taxes for the very wealthy. Dictating what health care decisions women can make. Banning books, and telling people who they can love. All while making it more difficult for you to be able to vote.”
He continued:
“When I ran for president four years ago, I said ‘we’re in a battle for the soul of America,’ and we still are. The question we’re facing is whether in the years ahead, we have more freedom or less. More rights or fewer.”
He added:
“This is not a time to be complacent. That’s why I’m running for reelection.”
Every generation has a moment where they have had to stand up for democracy. To stand up for their fundamental freedoms. I believe this is ours.
That’s why I’m running for reelection as President of the United States. Join us. Let’s finish the job. https://t.co/V9Mzpw8Sqy pic.twitter.com/Y4NXR6B8ly
