SZA Says ‘I Treat My Butt Like A Purse’ As She Explains That The Entertainment Industry Didn’t Pressure Her To Get A BBL

SZA is getting candid about her decision to go under the knife!

While plastic surgery has become a norm in Hollywood, not everyone is honest about the work they have done.

During a recent interview, SZA (born Solána Rowe) spoke about why she chose to get a Brazilian butt lift.

She explained,

“I treat my butt like a purse. It’s just there to enhance whatever else. And that’s why I paid for it, because it works all by itself. I always wanted a really fat *ss with less gym time.”

It appears SZA made her decision after a period of self-reflection.

The singer continued,

“I didn’t succumb to industry pressure. I succumbed to my own eyes in the mirror and being like, ‘No, I need some more *ss.'”

SZA has been teasing fans in her music, hinting that she’s gotten plastic surgery. In the title track of “SOS,” which was released last December, the entertainer sings,

“So classic, that *ss so fat, it look natural, it’s not.”

On the track “Conceited,” she confirms that she’s had plastic surgery and she’s not worried about what naysayers think! She sings,

“I just got my body done, ain’t got no guilt about it / I just heard your opinion, I could’ve did without it.”

Speaking of her album, the singer had a very successful tour for her long-overdue second-studio album “SOS.” The tour  – which began on Feb. 21 and ended on Mar. 23 – stopped through 16 cities in North America and two cities in Canada, reportedly making over $1.9 million per show.

In a past interview SZA — who reportedly had doubts about her project being successful — shared that she wanted the show to focus on catharsis through cinema and theater. She said:

 “I want it to be smart and exhilarating and exhausting and exciting like a party, but also like a therapy session.”
