Logan Paul & KSI’s Energy Drink PRIME Pulled From Shelves In Canada Due To Product Containing ‘Dangerous Levels’ Of Caffeine
Mega influencers Logan Paul and KSI may have to take some time to think about PRIME.
Just days after officials expressed their concerns over the (alleged) harmful contents within the celebrated energy drink, Canada has put a recall on the product.

According to reports, each can of the sought-after beverage (established in 2022 for ages 18+) contains 200 milligrams of caffeine, which (allegedly) amounts to (2) cans of Red Bull and half a dozen Coca-Colas.
Although PRIME prides itself on a vegan, zero-sugar recipe, the caffeine level is said to exceed the recommended 180 milligrams per serving.
When calling out the hazard, Senator Charles Schumer from New York noted concerns that the drink would have the wrong impact on impressionable children who watch YouTube sensations Logan Paul and KSI.
Prior to Canada’s ban on the item, he said,
“One of the summer’s hottest status symbols for kids is not an outfit or a toy; it’s a beverage. But buyer and parents beware because it’s a serious health concern for the kids it so feverishly targets.”

Schumer’s sentiments ignited an investigation by the FDA (Food and Drug Administration), which prompted a response from PRIME’s spokesperson Alyx Sealy.
In a statement, Sealy detailed,
“As a brand, our top priority is consumer safety, so we welcome discussions with the FDA or any other organization regarding suggested industry changes they feel are necessary in order to protect the consumers.”
While PRIME’s representative said that they also offer a hydration drink (with no caffeine included), Schumer argued that the company’s advertising tactics could be confusing to the customer, as they may lead them to believe that they’re purchasing “juice” for minors.
Since its debut last year, PRIME has become a worldwide phenomenon.
So far, no public statements have been given from Logan Paul or KSI. It appears that the co-owners are still continuing with their regular programming, as they were recently seen promoting their now-sold-out strawberry watermelon hydration+ sticks on Instagram.
