Former “Real Housewives” Stars NeNe Leakes & Bethenny Frankel Launch Joint Podcast Limited Series
Reality TV stars NeNe Leakes and Bethenny Frankel are taking their talents to their own platform.
Recently, it was announced that NeNe Leakes, 55, and Bethenny Frankel, 52, are teaming up to give “Real Housewives” fans a new limited podcast series. The series — named “BetheNeNe” — is set to launch on Frankel’s platform where the former housewives will discuss their issues with one another, friendships, womanhood, menopause, love and more.

Bethenny Frankel
Last week, the former Real Housewives of New York star took to her podcast’s Instagram account to announce the collaboration as a subseries on her podcast “Just B.” In the post, Bethenny Frankel uploaded a picture of herself alongside NeNe Leakes and wrote,
“How do you like this combo? BetheNeNe: A Limited Series with Bethenny Frankel & NeNe Leakes!
Spilling the tea on that eclectic dinner, menopause, on and off tv friendships…and so much more to come.”

The joint podcast comes after the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” alum accused her former boss Andy Cohen and TV network Bravo of allegedly having her “blacklisted” and turning “every network” against her following her accusations of racism and allowing a toxic work environment.

Leakes also previously expressed that Frankel is able to get away with saying certain things without any repercussions from Bravo. In July, Frankel reportedly revealed that during her first season on the hit Bravo series, she was only paid $7,250. Additionally, Frankel said that she’s never been paid residuals despite the success and impact of the show.

After Frankel spoke out for fellow reality stars to receive more fair compensation, Leakes seemed slightly taken back by the reaction the Skinnygirl founder was met with. Leakes shared,
“Bethenny has an advantage that I do not have…[she] can say things and people will get it and they’ll understand it. For a very long time I have said that there is a lot of unfair treatment in different areas of the reality workspace.”
She continued,
“Reality stars do not receive benefits….[not] any health benefits, any residuals. There’s no union for reality stars…the way your likeness is used over and over and over again and you don’t get one red penny. I don’t get a penny for all of those memes you see out there.”
