Actress Sheryl Lee Ralph & Her Husband Are Reportedly Moving In Together Officially After Almost Twenty Years Of Marriage
Sheryl Lee Ralph and her husband are taking a new step in their union!
According to reports, ‘Dreamgirls’ icon Sheryl Lee Ralph has finally decided to live under the same roof as her longtime partner, Vincent Hughes, full-time.
The exciting news comes only two weeks after Sheryl Lee Ralph briefly spoke on her bi-coastal marriage with Vincent Hughes in a sit-down interview.
When speaking on the secret to keeping their connection strong, the 66-year-old said,
“We don’t live together! [laughs]”
She continued:
“I see him every two weeks. And when I see him, I’m so happy to see him, and then when I’m leaving, I’m so happy to leave because I know I’ll be back again! Yeah, it works!”
Ralph and 67-year-old Vincent Hughes, a member of the Pennsylvania State Senate, married in 2005. Their separate-place arrangement has (reportedly) been their “thing” since the beginning, but the lovebirds did cohabitate for some time during the pandemic. These days, Ralph’s primary home is California while her boo resides in Pennsylvania.
However, the Emmy-winning actress is said to be uprooting to Philadephia with Hughes and will commute to Los Angeles for work, specifically her starring role in Quinta Brunson’s ‘Abbott Elementary.‘
An insider alleged,
“Sheryl’s work on Abbott Elementary keeps her anchored in L.A., while Vincent’s responsibilities tie him to Philadelphia — but regular visits every two weeks is no longer enough.”
They concluded:
“She will still travel to L.A. to work, but the moment the camera stops rolling, she’s heading home to her husband!”
The ‘Moesha’ phenomenon expanded on their relationship set upĀ over the summer and offered,
“You have to have an incredible amount of trust in that other person. We spend a lot of time talking to each other. But if [Vincent] doesn’t see me every two weeks, he gets a little nervous.”
Gushing over their unique romance, she added:
“I married the man who has become my best friend.”
Ralph noted that it was through sharing a spot amid the COVID-19 crisis that she realized how much she truly liked her lifetime mate.
