Jeannie Mai Suggests Estranged Husband Jeezy Violated Their Prenup By Cheating During Their Marriage, Argues For Primary Custody & “Financial Penalty” Payout

The ongoing divorce between Jeannie Mai and Jeezy seems to be turning more sour.

According to Radar Online, the exes have been taking shots at one another in recent court motions with the latest involving accusations of infidelity.

Reportedly, Jeannie Mai, 44, and Jay ‘Jeezy‘ Jenkins, 46, have recently been battling over custody of their young daughter Monaco. The rapper reportedly submitted a recent court request asking a judge to set a visiting schedule, claiming that his ex has been “gatekeeping” time he’s supposed to be allowed with his daughter. He reportedly wrote in the motion:

“The lack of consistency, continuity, and stability inherently associated with such a haphazard and fluid parenting time schedule is stressful to the child, and it has, as is unfortunately inevitable with all families in transition, created unnecessary tension and confusion regarding not only parenting time but also in regard to each parent’s role and rights when the child is in their respective custody.”

Jeezy reportedly added that he doesn’t believe Mai has been interferring with ill intent, but argues he shouldn’t have his time impeded none the less. In response, the TV personality reportedly claims that she’s been cooperating with her soon to be exes initial request for joint legal custody, but feels she should have primary physical custody. Additionally, the former daytime TV host reportedly insinuated that the terms of their prenup, which she says is “subject for interpretation”, has been violated. Her lawyer reportedly wrote in the document:

“Wife reserves the right to amend this counterclaim to add other grounds for divorce, but Wife does not wish to specify herein at this time in the hope this matter can be resolved without having to disclose such conduct publicly.”

Adding:

“Wife shows the Court that the parties entered into a Prenuptial Agreement on March 26, 2021. In the event the Court enforces the terms of said Prenuptial Agreement, Wife further shows that the Court should enforce Paragraph 8 of the Prenuptial Agreement regarding infidelity which provides, in pertinent part, that in the event that either party engages in sexual relations, an emotional relationship, or is emotionally or sexually suggestive in communication with a third party via all forms of electronic communication, including but not limited to, texting, sexting, Facetiming, social media and/or Direct Messages, shall result in a significant financial penalty upon the adulterous party as specified in said Prenuptial Agreement.”

This is the first time cheating allegations have been reported since the couple announced their split back in October. Neither Jeezy nor Jeannie have shared many details of what caused them to separate, instead they’ve only talked about moving forward in new chapters of their lives. Previously, there were speculations that Jeannie was the one having a romantic affair with actor Mario Lopez. Sources familiar with the situation, however, vehemently denied there was any truth behind the story.

Now, it seems Jeezy is the one being accused of stepping outside of their vows. It does not appear a judge has ruled on the matter of custody nor the prenup violation at this time.
