Megan Thee Stallion’s ‘Fire Crotch’ Line Removed From ‘Mean Girls’ Remake After Lindsay Lohan Was ‘Very Hurt And Disappointed’ By The Line
Megan Thee Stallion‘s infamous “fire crotch” line in Mean Girls has been pulled from the digital version of the revival.
When the film debuted in theaters last month, Megan Thee Stallion made a cameo and yelled out in part, “Y2K fire crotch is back.”
Now that the newest Mean Girls rendition is streaming on multiple platforms like Prime Video and Apple TV, that line is no longer there, per multiple outlets.
In clips that surfaced on X (formerly Twitter) Wednesday, February 21, Megan Thee Stallion noticeably skips the “fire crotch” line. Instead, her part ends with,
“Somebody sent me this look and I’m like, ‘Okay, you know what? Hot girls, we are going back red!'”

The move comes after a rep for Lindsay Lohan, who starred as Cady Heron in 2004’s original Mean Girls film, said she was “very hurt and disappointed” about the line.
The phrase dates back to a 2006 paparazzi video when Brandon Davis called Lindsay Lohan “fire crotch” to reporters.
Along with appearing in the movie, Megan Thee Stallion also collaborated with Reneé Rapp, who starred as head mean girl Regina George, for the single ‘Not My Fault.’
Megan dished about working with the actress and singer and said they instantly hit it off.
“I love Reneé. As soon as I met her I was like, ‘Oh, you my friend. OK.’ I love it. I love her and I love Mean Girls. It was only right they had to call the H-Town hottie out here.”
As for how she relates to the movie, Megan pointed out,
“I been calling myself the Black Regina George for, like, ever. And here I am. This is really my dream, so I’m so happy. I’m excited to be a part of this.”
