Amber Rose Is ‘Very Happy’ Her Ex-Boyfriend Alexander Edwards Is Dating Cher, Says The Relationship ‘Creates Stability’ For Their Son

Amber Rose is letting it be known she’s not one of those bitter exes.

In a soon-to-be-released episode of The Jason Lee Show, the model and TV personality shared she is “very happy” her 38-year-old ex-boyfriend Alexander ‘AE’ Edwards is in a new relationship with 77-year-old singer and actress, Cher.

Amber Rose explained Alexander Edwards and Cher’s relationship “creates stability for when [our] son goes over there.”

Seemingly taken aback by Amber Rose’s answer, Jason Lee asked, 

“He goes to Cher house? So you’re definitely not the mom that’s like ‘You’re not going over there.'”

The 40-year-old replied, 

“Absolutely not. Why would I do that? Let’s be very clear—why would I ever be mad at her? I don’t want him.”

The Sister Code actress went on to say, 

“Somebody gotta tolerate him, and it ain’t gonna be me, right? So I’m very happy that he’s over there with her because it’s stability for my son. The only thing that I ask is that you’re a present father, you help with me get him through private school.”

Rose further noted she wanted her and Edwards’s 4-year-old son, Slash, to attend the same private school as her 11-year-old Sebastian, who she shares with ex-husband and rapper Wiz Khalifa. 

Aside from ensuring Slash has a good education and being there for him, Rose reiterated that she’s not concerned with Edwards’ love life.

She quipped, 

“I don’t care if it’s her, or a dog, or a dolphin or a f**king rat. I don’t care who you are f**king, I’m not that type of baby momma. That’s not who I’ll ever be. I want him to be happy because a happy parent is good for our child — so that’s all I care about.”

Rose and Edwards were initially linked in 2018. The pair welcomed their child Slash in October 2019 but split in August 2021 after Edwards was allegedly unfaithful.

According to reports, Cher and Edwards first met during Paris Fashion Week in the fall of 2022. They’ve had an off-and-on relationship over the last year but it seems to have strengthened in recent months.
