He said in a statement,
“I want everybody to know I’m a changed person. I’m changing every day and God got the last say so. I really want to give an apology to the City of Savannah. I want to give an apology to my family, friends, loved ones, most of all to my daughters. I’m changing myself…Change starts at home first. It don’t matter the circumstances, it don’t matter the levels of how bad something is, God can bring you out of anything. So with that being said, I’m walking by faith and not by sight. Nothing can break me, it’s just gonna make me even more.”

He was later seen telling reporters in a video shared on his Instagram Story that the legal woes won’t negatively impact his rap career and said,
“All publicity is good publicity.”
He is slated to be sentenced on Dec. 12 and could get up to five years in prison. However, gang and drug charges at the state level are still ongoing in Chatham County Superior Court. A judge pressed pause on those accusations while waiting for the result of his current federal case.
Quando Rondo was arrested in Savannah in December and initially faced 20 years in prison.
After dropping hit singles like “I Remember” and “ABG,” he landed a deal with Atlantic Records. His first album QPac was released in 2020 and his sophomore album Recovery debuted in March.
