Karen Huger Fires Back At Ashley Darby, Suggests She Should Focus On Her Own Relationship w/ Alcohol After DUI Comments

Karen Huger is not holding back about her feelings towards her Real Housewives of Potomac castmates following their reactions to her DUI arrest.

During the season 9 premiere of RHOP, Karen Huger was hit with comments from her co-stars about her recent legal troubles. On Watch What Happens Live, Karen Huger revealed the pain she felt watching her friends’ comments on the show, saying,

“It just was so painful to watch it because I lived through it.”

Karen specifically called out Ashley Darby, who suggested Karen had a troubling pattern. Karen responded,

“Ashley needs to be concerned about her relationship with alcohol the way she sucks down the Coronas. I’m just saying.”

In response, Ashley Darby shared a video on her Instagram Story of herself opening a beer in a car, captioning it,

“Notice I’m being driven, not driving.”

On WWHL, Karen also expressed frustration at her castmates not waiting for the legal case to play out, adding,

“Are you wishing me harm? Honestly, I’m hoping to win when it all comes out, but I have to respect the law.”

When asked about the status of her case, Karen said,

“It’s still ongoing.”

Huger’s court battle stems from a March DUI arrest where she crashed into a tree in Maryland.
