Lil Durk’s Son Shares Heartfelt Message Following Rapper’s Arrest On Murder-For-Hire Charges
Lil Durk’s son Zayden recently pleaded with the public to show his father support amid the rapper’s arrest on murder-for-hire allegations.
In a post uploaded to his Instagram page, the message read:
“I want to take a moment to stand up for my dad, Durk Banks. He has always dedicated his life to uplifting others and giving back to our community through his nonprofit organization, Neighborhood Heroes.”
He continued:
“Beyond that, he is a great father who has always supported and loved our family unconditionally.”

The musician’s son also thanked Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson for his recent remarks about the situation, adding that despite his dad currently “facing challenges,” he hasn’t been found guilty of any crimes and “remains innocent until proven otherwise.”
As we’ve been covering, Durk “Lil Durk” Banks, 32, was detained by authorities last Thursday (October 24th) while attempting to leave the country.
He stands accused of hiring a hit man to assassinate his rap rival Quando Rondo over his alleged involvement in the murder of Durk’s longtime friend and fellow artist King Von, who was fatally shot in 2020.
Rando’s cousin Saviay’a Robinson was ultimately the one killed during the 2022 alleged murder-for-hire incident. The rapper is reportedly expected to be arraigned in a Los Angeles federal court within the next few weeks.
