Kai Cenat Explains Turning Down $60 Million Offer To Join Streaming Platform Kick: ‘I Asked God’
YouTuber Kai Cenat recently reflected on rejecting a large amount of money to join the streaming platform Kick.
During a recent livestream, the 22-year-old claimed that Kick offered him $60 million to stream part of his first Mafiathon on their platform last year and announce that he was officially a Kick partner.
Instead of taking the deal immediately, however, Cenat stated:
“I hung up the phone—chat, this is real—I literally got down on my knees and I prayed, and I asked God if this is the right decision.”
Continuing, he said:
“I wanna follow my heart, let me just make the right decision here and please don’t let me regret it. And chat, I still feel like if I went, I wouldn’t be here right now. No cap.”

A report from Complex notes that streamer Trainwreckstv alleged that Kick actually offered Cenat $22 million for the deal.
Cenat launched his Mafiathon, or marathon livestream, from February 1st to March 2nd 2023, broadcasting live 24/7 for 30 consecutive days.
His most recent sub-athon kicked off November 1st and made him the no. 1 Twitch streamer, surpassing the previous title holder, Ironmouse, and her record of 326,252 subscribers.
