Update: Dec 9, 2024: New details have surfaced in the ongoing investigation of UnitedHealthcare CEO’s death.
According to multiple news outlets, authorities have revealed a man named Luigi Mangione is the person they detained this morning (Dec. 9) in connection with the m*rder of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson. While he reportedly has not been charged for the fatal sh**ting at this time, Mangione is being questioned by law enforcement in Altoona, Pennsylvania.

Original Story: Dec 9, 2024: A man in Altoona, Pennsylvania is reportedly being held for questioning in connection with the m*rder of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson.
The detainment follows a tip that the suspect was seen at a McDonald’s and was carrying a gun similar to the one used in the shoot*ng.
Thompson was k*lled outside the New York Hilton Midtown hotel last Wednesday (Dec. 4), with the suspect calmly walking away and riding a Citi Bike to Central Park.
