Beyoncè’s Bey Good Donates $100K To Houston Criminal Justice Clinic
Beyoncé’s BeyGOOD foundation is giving back to her hometown of Houston with a $100,000 donation.
The funds will support the University of Houston Law Center’s Criminal Justice Clinic, helping to establish a full-time clinic and enhance its existing programs.
Leonard Baynes, the UH Law Center dean, highlighted the donation’s impact, saying,
“At UH Law, we envision a legal profession where ‘everyone has the opportunity to prosper,’ as BeyGOOD envisions, and we will achieve this vision by providing access to strong and effective legal representation in criminal proceedings. Together, through this gift, the BeyGOOD Foundation and UHLC will shepherd the next generation of criminal justice attorneys in the city of Houston, the state of Texas, and the nation.”
