Lizzo Opens Up About S*xual H@rassment & Abu$e Lawsuit From Former Dancers For First Time In Interview w/ Keke Palmer

For the first time, Lizzo is addressing the lawsuits filed against her by her former staff during an interview with Keke Palmer.

On the latest episode of the former Nickelodeon star’s podcast, Baby, This is Keke Palmer, released earlier today (Dec. 19), Lizzo shares her intention to speak about the allegations “once,” adding that she felt Keke’s show was the best place to do so.

In August 2023, three of Lizzo’s former backup dancers filed a lawsuit against the singer, her production company, and her dance captain, Shirlene Quigley. The dancers allege sexual, religious, and racial harassment, disability discrimination, assault, false imprisonment, creation of a hostile work environment, and weight-shaming.

Lizzo was then hit with a similar suit by her former stylist. Around the same time, others who worked with the Grammy Award-winning artist came forward to back the dancers’ claims.

In response, Lizzo denied the allegations via her rep, previously calling them “unbelievable” and “too outrageous not to be addressed.”
