Rep. Jasmine Crockett Speaks Out In Support Of Immigrants Ahead Of Trump’s Presidental Term

Rep. Jasmine Crockett is reminding the public of her ongoing efforts to caution against supporting President-Elect Donald Trump’s mass deportation plans.

The congresswoman took to X (formerly Twitter) earlier today (Dec. 27) to address the incoming president’s promise to remove illegal immigrants from the country, once again explaining why immigrants are essential to the economy.

Reports state that economists have also warned against such a program, arguing that it would require huge logistical and financial costs, potentially causing an “economic disaster” for the U.S., which relies heavily on migrant labor.

Trump has reportedly stated he has “no price tag” on his deportation plans, which he has not detailed regarding how he plans to execute them.
