Sports Journalist Taylor Rooks Joins Amazon’s Prime Video NBA Coverage Alongside Retired NBA Players Blake Griffin & Dirk Nowitzki
Major congratulations are in order for Taylor Rooks!
The 32-year-old sports journalist has joined former NBA players Blake Griffin, 35, and Dirk Nowitzki, 46, as the official commentators of Amazon Prime Video’s NBA coverage. They’ll make their debut in October 2025 for the first season of NBA coverage on Amazon Prime. As reported, Amazon’s streaming company secured an 11-year media rights deal with the league.
Speaking on the exciting news, Taylor Rooks shared a post to her IG that said,
“A dream came true today. I’ve never felt more proud. To host Amazon’s NBA coverage alongside legends like Dirk Nowitzki and Blake Griffin and build a show that’s engaging, informative, entertaining, and most importantly- for the fan. The NBA has been a community for me my entire career.”
