SZA, who was also present during the interview, admitted that she was nervous about stepping into a new career path, saying:
“I’m trying something brand new. All I can do is try my best, you know, and thank God for the opportunity… I have tons of fears about being perceived on camera, talking, my voice, and being next to Keke, who’s a superstar of so many multitudes.”
Keke and SZA play two best friends who find themselves in an unfortunate situation, needing to make $1,500 to cover their rent.
The two also shared their excitement about their on-screen chemistry, noting that there was an instant connection when they first met on the SNL set back in 2022.
One of Them Days, produced by Issa Rae, will now hit theaters on January 17th.
