Browns Rookie Shedeur Sanders Trends After Getting Cited For Driving 101 MPH In A 60 Zone

Shedeur Sanders is trending after being pulled over for speeding in Ohio.

According to police records, the Browns rookie quarterback was clocked going 101 mph in a 60 mph zone around 12:24 a.m. Tuesday (June 17). Sanders now faces a $250 fine or a court appearance on July 3.

Sanders, a projected first-rounder who slipped to the fifth round in this year’s NFL Draft, had just wrapped up the team’s mandatory minicamp and was staying in Cleveland for rookie orientation.

Reactions online are mixed. One person tweeted,

“I mean is this really a story? I’m not a big Shedeur fan but this happens so often it’s not a major deal.”

Another wrote,

“This is exactly why he dropped in the draft. Going 71 in a 55 could be considered an oversight. Going 101 mph is somebody that feels rules don’t pertain to him and entitled! I hope he grows up before it’s too late and he ruins his NFL career.”

What do y’all think? Should fans be concerned, or is this being blown out of proportion?
