Elon Musk Declares Independence From Trump+ Teases New ‘America Party’ To Break 2-Party Grip: ‘Serve The True Will Of The People’
Elon Musk marked Independence Day with a bold move: proposing a new political party called the “America Party.”
On Twitter he asked, “Should we create the America Party?” and posted a poll. He later explained the strategy: “Laser-focus on just 2 or 3 Senate seats and 8 to 10 House districts… enough to serve as the deciding vote on contentious laws, ensuring that they serve the true will of the people.”
This comes days after Musk’s White House exit as head of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). Though originally set to remain an advisor, his fierce opposition to Trump’s recently passed “Big Beautiful Bill” shifted the tone.
“This… pork-filled Congressional spending bill is a disgusting abomination,” Musk posted. “Shame on those who voted for it.”
Trump fired back on Truth Social, accusing Musk of hypocrisy, writing: “DOGE is the monster that might have to go back and eat Elon. Wouldn’t that be terrible?”
