Doechii Says ‘We Don’t Really Have A Superstar Of This Generation’ — Do Y’all Agree?
Doechii believes superstardom in this generation is still in the making. In the August 2025 issue of British Vogue, the “Booty Drop” rapper shared, “We don’t really have a superstar of this generation just yet, because there hasn’t been enough time.”
Reflecting on her own journey, she admitted, “When I look at pop culture right now, I’m just trying to figure out, ‘OK, what does a Doechii superstar look like? What does it take to make that?’ I have no clue.”
Despite her uncertainty, Doechii is gaining momentum. Her track “Get Right,” a collaboration with Tyler, the Creator and produced by Pharrell Williams, debuted at Louis Vuitton’s Men’s Spring/Summer 2026 show in Paris.
