Diddy & Son Christian Combs Seek Dismissal Of $exual A$$ault Lawsuit, Citing International Waters Jurisdiction

Diddy and his son Christian Combs are asking a federal judge to toss out a s*xual a$$ault lawsuit filed by yacht stewardess Grace O’Marcaigh.

In court documents, their legal teams argue the alleged incident occurred outside California’s legal reach—specifically, in international waters near the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Christian’s attorneys assert, “Even if the allegations were true, California law does not apply to conduct that occurred outside the state.” They maintain this is a legal jurisdiction issue, not a denial of the claims.

The lawsuit accuses Christian of a$$ault, b*ttery, and attempted forced oral s*x aboard the luxury yacht Victorious on December 28, 2022. O’Marcaigh claims he was drunk, groped her, and followed her after she tried to leave.

Diddy, who chartered the yacht, is accused of fostering a “lawless atmosphere” and paying the captain to silence the report. If the motion is denied, both men must formally answer the claims in court.
