[UPDATE] NBA Star Anthony Edwards Ordered To Pay Ayesha Howard $3K Monthly In Child Support For 1-Year-Old Daughter
The saga between #AnthonyEdwards and Ayesha Howard might be coming to an end soon.
The NBA star has come out ahead in a child support dispute with #AyeshaHoward, the mother of his 1-year-old daughter. According to court docs obtained by TMZ, a Georgia judge has ordered him to pay $3,222 a month. The Minnesota #Timberwolves guard, who signed a five-year contract worth over $200 million in 2023, has already paid roughly $110,000 in support since January 2025 — starting with a $20,000 initial payment and continuing at $5,000 monthly through trial. Ayesha’s income was listed as zero, and the judge noted she didn’t appear at trial or offer evidence supporting her claims.
The ruling also resolved a jurisdictional fight: while Ayesha had filed for child support in California, Anthony filed his case in Georgia, arguing she had no real ties to California and had chosen that state hoping for a larger award.
His attorneys additionally pushed back on what they described as Ayesha repeatedly prolonging the case, and the court ultimately sided with Anthony, keeping the matter in Georgia.
