Colin Kaepernick Reportedly Pulls His Books From Target & Won’t Sell New Memoir At Retailer Amid Boycott

Former NFL quarterback and activist Colin Kaepernick is reportedly standing with the ongoing Target boycott by keeping his upcoming memoir out of the retailer.

On a recent episode of Higher Learning, co-host Van Lathan said he had learned on “great authority” that Kaepernick’s new memoir, The Perilous Fight, will not be available at Target when it is released Sept. 15. Lathan also reported that Kaepernick’s previously released children’s books are being pulled from Target shelves, acknowledging that the decision could impact sales. He said the move was important to Kaepernick’s camp as they stand with efforts in the Black community to hold Target accountable.

Co-host Rachel Lindsay praised the reported decision, saying, “I think it’s very commendable,” and adding that she likes that Kaepernick’s camp is “standing with the boycott.”
