D.L. Hughley Recalls Threatening To Beat The Sh*t Out Of Chris Rock After Fellow Comedian Allegedly Called Him A ‘Dumb N*gg*&gt

#DLHughley is opening up about his past feud with #ChrisRock, revealing that things once got so heated he threatened to physically fight the fellow comedian.

During a recent appearance on “On Par with Maury Povich,” Hughley recalled discovering that Rock was secretly serving as an executive producer on his sitcom “The Hughleys,” which aired from 1998 to 2002. Despite sharing the same manager and agent, Hughley claimed he had no idea Rock was involved until someone brought it up during an appearance on “The View.” To make matters worse, Hughley claimed that Rock and his managers were making more money from the show than he was, something he admitted “insulted the f*ck out of me.”

Hughley said he eventually reached out to Rock, hoping he could at least contribute notes to the show’s scripts since he was getting paid. However, according to Hughley, Rock responded by boasting about his success and allegedly telling him, “If it wasn’t for me, you wouldn’t have had the show, you dumb n*gg*.” The remark struck a nerve, with Hughley admitting he threatened to “beat the sh*t out of” Rock. He explained that the insult felt like being punched in the face, particularly because of how superior Rock appeared to consider himself. Thankfully, Hughley confirmed that Rock eventually apologized, adding, “We’ve talked since then and we’re cool.”
