Who’s Bald, Who’s Powerful? GQ’s 2010 Bald 100
GQ does us all a favor and lists their GQ’s 2010 Bald 100. These my friend are what they consider “one hundred of the most powerful, influential and just plain bad-ass looking bald men in the USA.”
I’m half-sleep as I type this, so I damn sure ain’t providing all 100, but, here are a few that we (as in me) found intriguing:
#1 Charles Barkley. (One-time NBA MVP and Round Mound of Rebound; now, everybody’s favorite crazy TNT analyst, Taco Bell spokesman.)
- Michael Jordan came in at #4. (Raw talent, maniacal dedication, and genetic blessings aside, perhaps it was Jordan’s baldness that facilitated the aerodynamic prowess allowing him to leap so absurdly high.)
- Magic Johnson at #18 (NBA Hall of Famer and three-time MVP turned HIV educator and activist; failed movie theater franchise owner and talk show host.)
- Romany Malco at # 81 (Child rapper turned actor, most notably as drug dealer to suburban housewives on Weeds.)
- DMX at #90 (One of nineties’ hip-hop artists with more arrests than albums (including a 90-day stint for torturing dogs); recently vowed to join the ministry then changed mind.)
