Twitter-Stan-Thug-Life: Brandy & Monica Fans Attack Each Other On Twitter

I thought Beyonce fans and stans go hard, but apparently the love that certain fans have for their favorite artist is immense. For example, Wednesday afternoon, fans of both Brandy and Monica got into a heated twitter beef over their respective artists. So much that Brandy and Monica both had to step in–literally–and calm both sides down. So what happened? We're still trying to put the pieces together, but in short fans started popping slick (on both sides) about each artist. Brandy's promoting her new album (Two Eleven) and some of Monica's fans had some not so nice things to say about the project. They even brought up the vintage 90's beef that Brandy and Monica had back in the day, while recording 'The Boy is Mine'. Well, Monica and Brandy both hopped on twitter to calm their fans down. Monica wrote:
Just logging on & I'm so disappointed with the foolery. It's a KNOWN fact that I support
@4everBrandy & I'm beyond happy that she is making…The amazing music God put her here to make@4everBrandy deserves 2shine & these old comparisons & beefs of the 90s are childish…I uplift ALL the women doing their thing. It's by no mistake Bran is at the top of her game@silentbx your often rude to me but its fed by Many perpetuating all the silliness of the past. IT'S DEAD@ChrisFiercestop it!!!#2elevenDovesandStarzUnite or I no longer see u
Meanwhile, Brandy chimed in, expressing the same sentiments:
Starz: I've repeatedly said this to all of you, there's no need to put another artist down no matter if their fans are doing that to me! Starz: you don't fight fire with fire! That's not what we represent! The time to stay positive Is when you have every right not to be!
