[Video] Ray J Explains Vintage ‘Booty Goons’ Threat to Fabolous: ‘Man, That Was Like The Hangover Movie’
Back in 2011, the infamous Ray J tirade was one for the record books. In short, the actor/singer called into ‘The Breakfast Club‘ to give his take on an altercation that went down with Rapper Fabolous, in Las Vegas. In a comical rant, Ray J explained:
Don’t disrespect me and Floyd like that. I play piano on that muthaf*cking piano every day. That’s my big bro. We grew up together. So if you think I just came over there and sang a song, you got me muthaf**kin twisted. I’m with the money team right now. He’s running from me. When I seen him, I was with Floyd and 50 and that n*gga said ‘Don’t Touch Me’, and I touched that n*gga. These n*ggas think I sing songs and run around here and do dances and sh*t, I don’t play them games man.
And he continued
I got three new Rolls Royces outside and I’m tired of being humble with n*ggas and I’m tired of being low key. Now, I’m about to pull my muthaf*cking whips out… I’m about to show ya’ll what my cribs look like and I’m about to roll with my n*ggas and smack n*ggas up that’s talking sh*t! ‘Get Fab on the line right now, I’ll smack the sh** out of that n***a, then I’m going to get my big homies on the phone that like n***s and they gonna rape that n***a. Bend that n***a over and stick him in the booty. I don’t give a f**k’.
Yep. It’s still funny. Two years later, Ray J is back, sober and clarified what really motivated him to call into the show and what he was thinking after it happened. Peep a few excerpts below.
On calling into the show and threatening rapper Fabolous:
That was like a ‘Hangover’ movie. It was a real bad night. It was a mixture of bad stuff. It was alchol. Everything else, I blacked out. If id dint’ call the radio station, i wouldn’t remember it happened. All my friends was laughin’.
What he meant when he said he’d send ‘Booty Goons’, to rape Fab:
It was a bad night and Fab know, I was turnt up. Listen, Fab is a good dude. It was a turnt up weekend.
If he’s still on Floyd Mayweather’s ‘The Money Team’:
Yeah, that’s my brother.
If he still has the indoor pool and outdoor pool, that he referred to when he made the ‘infamous call’:
I don’t even know why I wanted to call y’all.
What his relationship is like with Brandy’s fiance:
Yeah, I’m really cool with dude. He hit me like ‘Yo, I wanna ask your sister to marry me.’ We talked though.
If he’s still protective over Brandy’s love life:
I’m always there for, but we grown. As long as she happy, we good.
If he’ll send Kanye West and Kim Kardashian a baby shower gift:
Listen, that’s not my place to even converse about that. You know what I’m sayin’?
If he’s noticed that Kris Jenner’s ‘Kardashian Machine’ is influencing Kanye:
Nah, I haven’t and I wish ’em all the best.
