Michelle Obama Will Guest Star on “iCarly”

I’ve never watched an episode, but my girlfriends w/ kids and neices RAVE about iCarly and guess who’s gonna be on an episode???? First Lady, Michell Obama. She’ll be on the show to discuss Joining Forces, an initiative aimed at increasing awareness and support for military families.The network president, Cyma Zarghami , explained the concept. The show’s main character, Carly Shay is the daughter of a colonel serving overseas in the military. Carly’s two best friends break some rules to set up a web chat so Carly can speak to her dad on his birthday. Zarghami explained, “the first lady discovers it and comes to have a chat with them in the most positive way possible.” Apparently, Obama’s daughters love the show. The episode will air January 2012.
