Star Jones & Barbara Walters Make-Up, Star Returns to ‘The View’ for One Day

As you may recall, back in 2006, Star Jones ended her stint on ABC’s “The View”. The network decided not to renew her contract, while Star made a surprise announcement (the network and co-hosts were unaware of her announcement) that she would not return, during a segment. Here’s a throw-back clip of her announcement:
After her departure, both Star and Barbara Walters, had some not-so-nice things to say about each other to the media. Fast forward to the present day, it appears that the two may have kissed & made-up. On Feb. 22, Star Jones is scheduled to appear on the show, to promote an awareness campaign about heart disease among women.

She will discuss her work with the American Heart Association’s “Go Red for Women” public information campaign. [Associated Press]
