Confirmed :: Jim Jones & Chrissy Lampkin Get Their Own Show

Looks like the rumors are true. After spending two seasons on VH1’s “Love & Hip-Hop” rapper Jim Jones and his fiance, Chrissy Lampkin, have landed their own reality TV show. This comes as no surprise, as tension between Chrissy and the show’s executive producer, Mona Scott-Young grew. On the reunion show of the last season, Chrissy even refused to be interviewed and film with Mona. In an interview with Vibe, she hints at other reasons why she left Love & Hip-Hop:
“It’s like why did I let them get me that angry? I feel like I can think circles around half of the situations that I allow myself to get angry at. My wit and my vocabulary is enough to cut somebody down where I don’t have to get physical.”
So what are the details on the new show? Welp, there’s no show title, but viewers can expect drama. Chrissy confirmed:
“Jimmy and I have our own show now. There’s definitely gonna be drama. We love each other but we don’t always see eye to eye. We respect each other but just like any other relationship, it gets rocky….I really don’t know [the title yet]. I really wanted Me and Mrs. Jones but Kelis and Nas already used that.”
