Frank Ocean Tweets, But Not About Coming Out the Closet On New Album

Monday afternoon, rumors swirled that Frank Ocean (real name Christopher Breaux) had plans to lyrically come out the closet on his upcoming ‘Channel Orange’ album. Where did this rumor start? After a bunch of internet hustlin’ we found the source. A site called ThisIsMaxOnline reviewed the songs on his new album and according to them, there are a few tracks that allude to the 24-year-old singer being gay. They wrote:
Frank has also opened up about his sexuality on the album, we think it’s brave and admire him for being so honest and sharing such a personal aspect of his life through his music. On the songs ‘Bad Religion’ ‘Pink Matter and ‘Forrest Gump’ you can hear him sing about being in love and there are quite obvious words used like ‘him’ and not ‘her’.
In the world we live in now we can’t see this being an issue or why it should be?? But we do commend him for not continuing a facade and conforming to what a Hip Hop so called rule book expects, we say live your life and be yourself. If you love women and men, that’s your business.
Meanwhile, Frank has not confirmed or denied allegations of who he prefers sexually. However, according to his twitter, he does have plans to lay off weed. He wrote:
on second thought. damn, a lot’s changed and i still ain’t scared of these hoes. fasting from the tree for a while, touring and smoke sessions dont mix. at all.
So, the question is…do you believe the site and or do you care?
