Trina Braxton, MSNBC’s Melissa Harris-Perry, Carol’s Daughter Founder & Friends Hit “For You Bayou Presented by Hennessy”

During the Essence Music Festival weekend, community and culture was celebrated at “For You Bayou Presented By Hennessy” event. Hosted by Carol’s Daughter and Diva Lounge and held in a Carol’s Daughter Pop-Up Shop in the French Quarter, a ton of fancy folk showed up for the celebration. Creator Lisa Price was in attendance, along with MSNBC’s Melissa Harris-Perry, Kim Bondy, Eliza Eugene and Carla Major were some of the honorees recognized for being champions in “The Big Easy.” Celebrity DJ Amanda Seales held down the 1’s and 2’s while Trina Braxton from “The Braxton Family Values” showed her support. Proceeds of the Carol’s Daughter products on display are going to Dress for Success, an organization that outfits women with business attire.
